SC05 is a system that can be adapted to any demand or environment without altering its essence and spirit.
SC05 comprises a few elements: cold galvanized steel pressed grates, foam, and velvet.
The metal grates are seamlessly welded from the rear to deliver a light, effortless look to the industrial and unsophisticated metal. On this, we place a geometrically precise cushion comprised of different layers of foam with distinct densities, which can completely alter the seating position and feel of the user: stiffer and more prone for active work seating, softer and more laid back for domestic environment. The backrest is also completely customizable and sticks to the vertical metal structure thanks to an invisible magnetic attachment, emphasizing the purity of its half-cylindrical shape.
Everything is dressed in a soft velvet veil, elevating the raw steel construction and adding a layer of unpredictability with the shades and tones the fabric bears under the different view angles in contrast to the impartial and rigid metal base.
